If you think India is the only country having strange bans in recent past including, Fifty Shades of Gray, beef ban and recent news of banning alcohol. Then you need to know strange bans across the globe.
1. Chewing Gum- If traveling to Singapore always
remember not to chew gums. There is a strict law against selling of chewing gum
inside Singapore and spitting of chewing gum on the streets.
2. Flip Flops- There is an island called Capri in Italy,
where flip flops or sandals that make annoying and loud noises are strictly
banned.

Valentine’s Day- Ever think of celebrating Valentine’s
Day without red roses or red hearts. Yes, in Saudi Arabia red color around
Valentine’s Day is literally banned.
4. Baby Names (Denmark) - Personally, I think this is too much. Restricting names and choosing names
from 24,000 approved government names are too much.

Jeans- Even jeans in North Korea, not black
but blue jeans are banned. According to North Korea, the color associated with
U.S, so North Korea restricted them.
6. Voting Rights- Women in Vatican City are not luckier
than you. They don’t have voting rights. Also, women in Saudi Arabia have no
voting rights.

PlayStations- PS 3 along with other most famous
video gaming equipments are banned in China. This is due to the government of
China doesn’t want youth to waste their time playing.

Emo Style- Ever travelling to Russia, you will
find that these dress codes have been banned from governmental buildings,
schools and public places.

Clothing- Yellow
might be your favorite color, but it is banned in Malaysia since 2011. According
to Malaysian government yellow color was the color of opposition group activists.
